Cake, the Havas-owned sports and entertainment agency, appointed ROSIE HOLDEN, former managing partner at Karmarama, as its managing director. It follows the departure of CEO ADRIAN PETTETT and Managing Dir JIM DOWLING earlier this year. Holden will lead Cake, alongside Exec Creative Dir SHIRIN MAJID. She will join the business in January and report to Havas UK Group CEO CHRIS HIRST (PR WEEK, 12/13). ... Netball South Australia is seeking a new CEO after BEN SCALES "surprisingly announced his decision to quit the position" on Thursday after six years. Scales said that the decision to leave was difficult, but claimed "the time was right" for himself and the organization (Brisbane COURIER-MAIL, 12/13). ... Esports team Immortals Founder NOAH WHINSTON left his job as CEO to become exec chair. COO ARI SEGAL will succeed him. Whinston founded the team in '15, and emerged as "one of the best-known executives in the rapidly growing industry" (THE ESPORTS OBSERVER, 12/13).
