Netball England Signs Multi-Year Partnership With Nike

Nike and England Netball announced a multi-year partnership covering the elite women’s team and the organization's 3,000 clubs across England. The agreement makes Nike the official partner of England Netball for the first time, and the brand will design and supply on- and off-court kits for the England Roses during their int'l netball competitions. The England team will debut the Nike performance kit during the three-match Vitality Netball Int'l Series against Uganda from Tuesday to Sunday (Nike). SKY SPORTS' Sacha Shipway reported the multi-year deal with Nike is "undoubtedly the most high profile for England Netball" and head coach Tracey Neville said that it will "impact the netball world on a global scale." Hot "on the heels" of England's deal with Vitality, the Roses added Nike. Neville: "We talk about wanting to be in the Olympics and wanting to take our sport further -- they are the biggest sponsorship deals across all countries, across all sports. From our point of view in respect to networking, getting our sport out, it's the best way to go. Our commercial department have done an excellent job to seal that deal for the future" (SKY SPORTS, 11/27).
