Court Rules In Favor Of La Liga Side Villarreal

A court in Valencia, Spain, ruled against a businessman who was opposed to La Liga side Villarreal naming its stadium "Estadio de La Cerámica," according to the EFE. The plaintiff "registered that name in '15 with Spain's Office of Patents and Trademarks." The judge "cited bad faith" on the part of the businessman filing the complaint, saying that he registered the name "when he knew of the club's serious intentions to rename its stadium" (EFE, 10/16).
