Marketplace Roundup: Asvel Signs Naming Rights Deal With LDLC

French Pro A basketball side Asvel signed the "largest naming rights deal in French basketball" with online tech retailer LDLC. According to a club source, the contract is for 10 years and will represent 8-9% of the team’s budget, which will be €9M ($10.4M) for the ’18-19 season. The club also unveiled a new logo featuring LDLC (L’ÉQUIPE, 9/11).

Hyundai Motors and the Dorna World Superbike Organization joined forces to make the Hyundai i30 Fastback N the official safety car of the Superbike World Championship. The Hyundai N will be the championship's official safety car for three seasons. Hyundai is set to debut the car in October at the Paris Motor Show (WorldSBK).

Chinese esports club RNG partnered with Guliduo, the grain milk product of Yili Group. The deal was announced on RNG's Weibo account on Friday, three days after the team announced a deal with KFC (YUTANG SPORTS, 9/11).

Gillette signed a sponsorship deal with Brazil's professional League of Legends league, the Campeonato Brasileiro de League of Legends. The deal was announced on Saturday, with Gillette serving as a presenting partner for last weekend's CBLoL Winter Grand Finals (THE ESPORTS OBSERVER, 9/10).
