Marketplace Roundup: Real Betis Renews Shirt Deal With OTC Desks

La Liga side Real Betis renewed its shirt sponsorship with technology company OTC Desks. The logo for OTC Desks' Green Earth property will keep its presence on the front of the Real Betis jersey for home games, while the OTC Desks logo will be featured on the team's away jersey (Real Betis). The Spanish club also partnered with esports organization Esportia to "improve its esports team." The club did not announce the financial details or length of the agreement. Real Betis' esports division competes in the Virtual Football Organization (PALCO23, 8/15).

La Liga side Valencia named EA Sports its video game sponsor through '20. Valencia and EA Sport have been partners since '12 (Valencia).

Ligue 1 side Nîmes Olympique announced RMC Sport as a new sponsor. The broadcaster’s logo will be featured on the shorts of the club starting this Sunday with its match against Olympique de Marseille (MIDI LIBRE, 8/15).

Cristiano Ronaldo said that he has "held talks with Nike" about designing shoes in Juventus' colors. While being taken shoe shopping by Complex in Beijing, Ronaldo "was shown a rare pair of 2003 Air Max 95 Juventus trainers" (London DAILY MAIL, 8/16).

Manchester-based PR Agency One was appointed to raise brand awareness for retailer Decathlon. The appointment of PR Agency One is part of a marketing drive to raise Decathlon’s brand awareness and store footfall in the U.K. (PROLIFIC NORTH, 8/15).

Saudi Stars League team Al Nassr named Etihad Airways its shirt and main sponsor. Etihad Airways will work with Al Nassr on brand partnership, marketing, customer loyalty initiatives, social media outreach, in-flight programming and travel and trade support (THE NATIONAL, 8/15).

The Tour of Britain named connected fitness device brand Wahoo its official points jersey partner. Wahoo was previously the race's training and cycle computer partner (Tour of Britain).

Cyclist Ellen Noble signed a deal to become a Red Bull athlete, starting this cyclocross season (VELONEWS, 8/15).
