Marketplace Roundup: Expedia Partners With Champions League

UEFA announced Expedia Group as the official travel partner of the Champions League. The three-season agreement also includes the Super Cup, Youth League Finals and the Futsal Champions League Finals through the '20-21 season. The Expedia Group brands will receive pitch-side placement and TV advertising spots during match broadcasts, hospitality events and other exclusive rights (UEFA). 

TAG Heuer's official timekeeper partnership with the Premier League will enter its third season. The watchmaker used a kickoff event in London to unveil a Premier League interactive watch face for the TAG Heuer Connected Modular smartwatch that gives instant alerts about any match throughout the season (WATCH PRO, 8/15).

Dubai extended its partnership with Newmarket Racecourses for five years. The Emirate agreed to a wide-ranging package of commercial rights until '22 with Britain's leading racecourse group, Jockey Club Racecourses, which owns and operates Newmarket's Rowley Mile and July Course. Dubai renewed its headline partnership of the Dubai Future Champions Festival (The Jockey Club). 

Unimoni was announced as the title sponsor for the upcoming 50-over Asia Cup 2018 tournament in the UAE. Previously, the company was known as UAE Exchange (BD CRIC TIME, 8/15).

The Arctic Race of Norway and Equinor renewed their partnership through '21, and will strengthen Equinor's positioning as the main partner of the event (THE FINANCIAL, 8/15).

Juventus announced a partnership with pasta brand De Cecco. The company will be a global partner, and will benefit from TV visibility as well as digital, PR and experiential assets (Juventus).
