Arsenal Fan TV Forced To Rebrand After Talks With Club

Arsenal Fan TV was forced to "rebrand" after the football club held discussions with the YouTube channel, according to Joshua Jones of THE SUN. It is understood unauthorized use of the copyrighted "Arsenal" for audio and visual recordings was having a "negative impact on the club." The channel was established in Oct. '12. It has more than 820,000 subscribers, with its total number of views currently more than 487 million across its 9,129 uploaded videos. Arsenal reportedly did not send a cease and desist letter but discussions "were held between the club and the channel." Arsenal Fan TV was rebranded as @AFTVMedia on Twitter and Instagram, with the previous handle @ArsenalFanTV tweeting the news (THE SUN, 8/13).
