Marketplace Roundup: Bournemouth Re-Signs Mansion

Premier League side Bournemouth re-signed with gaming operator Mansion, which will continue as principal partner for a fourth consecutive season. The sleeve sponsorship will include the club and the company working on a range of commercial projects. With the launch of its new sportsbook product, MansionBet, the Mansion Group has signed a number of partnerships across the sporting world in recent months (Bournemouth). 

Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund will be the first football club to use virtual advertising technology at all 17 home matches of the '18-19 season. Lagardère Sports is responsible for the implementation and global marketing of the technology, which has been licensed by the sports rights agency. The partnership was initially signed for the next two seasons (Lagardère Sports).

Independent brewer Gage Roads Brewing was appointed as the exclusive supplier of beer and cider to nib Stadium for the next 5 years. VenuesWest, the operator of nib Stadium, appointed Gage Roads following a "similar licensing deal signed with Cricket Australia earlier this year." The supply contract commences "later this month" (SMALL CAPS, 8/13).

Dunlop owner Sumitomo Rubber Industries appointed Promote PR to support the sporting goods brand's global relaunch. The brief is to create PR campaigns and content to be used by markets across the world to promote new Dunlop products and a series of partnerships (PR WEEK, 8/13).

Paris St. Germain announced Chinese video game streaming platform Douyu as a new partner of its Dota 2 esports team, PSG.LGD. Douyu's logo will be featured on the clavicle area of the shirt worn by the five PSG gamers throughout the one-year deal (PSG). 

German First League of Handball side HSG Wetzlar announced main sponsor Licher Brewery extended its contract through '23. The brewery will end its nine-year commitment as the main financier in the summer of '19 and continue to support the club as a co-sponsor (DPA, 8/10).

The Int'l Federation of PGA Tours announced the Int'l Sports Promotion Society (ISPS HANDA) will sponsor the 2018 Melbourne World Cup of Golf at The Metropolitan Golf Club in Melbourne, scheduled for Nov. 21-25 (PGA Tour). 

The Int'l Handball Federation announced Liqui Moly as an official sponsor of the 26th IHF Men's World Championship in Germany and Denmark next January. The German oil specialists now have the rights to advertise during the all 96 matches of the event (IHF).
