Red Bull F1's Renewal With IBM Includes The Weather Company

Red Bull Racing on Tuesday announced an addition to its pact with IBM that will add The Weather Company’s suite of services to the Formula 1 team's capabilities. Terms were not disclosed, but Red Bull already has a pre-existing deal with IBM and this is an add-on with one of the company's subsidiaries. As part of the move, Red Bull will get access to The Weather Company's weather operations dashboard that helps analyze current weather conditions as well as access to The Weather Company's 30-year historical data to help the team make predictions. The Weather Company also has deals with NASCAR and Chevrolet. Weber Shandwick is IBM's PR agency.
