Barcelona Reports Record Revenue Of €914M In '17-18

Revenues at Barcelona hit a record €914M in the '17-18 season, the club announced, according to Bill Wilson of the BBC. Barça added that it was "on track" to achieve revenues of €1B ($1.17B) by '21. Barcelona received a world-record transfer fee of £200.6M from Paris St. Germain for Neymar in '17. Operating profits at the club were €32M, while the net profit was €13M (BBC, 7/17). CNBC's Adam Reed reported Barcelona stated total expenses of €882M. The club announced its EBITDA was €177M and "went on to add that a complete list of financial year-end results," as well as a new budget, will be reported publicly before Barcelona’s next general assembly (CNBC, 7/17).
