Marketplace Roundup: La Liga Side Levante Signs Betting Firm Betway

La Liga side Levante named Betway its principal sponsor for the next two seasons. Betway's logo will appear on the front of the team's shirt and will also have a presence on the club's trainingwear and throughout its training facility. Betway, which sponsors Premier League side West Ham, Bundesliga side Werder Bremen and Belgian side Anderlecht, recently partnered with La Liga side Leganés (Levante).

La Liga side Real Betis renewed its kit deal with Italian brand Kappa, which will remain the club's technical sponsor and principal partner through the '21-22 season (Real Betis).

The 24 Horas de Catalunya, which is scheduled for this weekend, named motorcycle insurance firm AMV its official sponsor (MUNDO DEPORTIVO, 7/3).

Chelsea named Millennium & Copthorne Hotels as its official hotel partner. The three-year partnership follows a relationship between the brands over the past decade. The partnership will also give MyMillennium members and all corporate customers access to football experiences with the club. There are two Millennium & Copthorne Hotels on site at Stamford Bridge (Chelsea). 

Arsenal fans who purchased '18-19 replica jerseys with Mesut Özil’s name and squad number "will be given free replacements after the midfielder switched to the number 10 shirt made available by the departure of Jack Wilshere." Özil has worn 11 since joining the club in '13 but "wasted little time in pouncing on" what he described as a "special number" after Wilshere’s contract was not renewed after the end of last season (REUTERS, 7/3).

League Championship side Leeds United will unveil its new store at Trinity Leeds on Thursday, with a "number of first-team players in attendance." The store opening will "provide supporters with a central location" to purchase official Leeds United merchandise (BDAILY, 7/3).

Premier League side Huddersfield Town renewed its deal with Kinect Energy Group for an eighth season. Kinect will be the sponsor of the club for the next two years (BDAILY, 7/3).

The Int'l Ski Federation (FSI) Nordic World Ski Championships signed a main sponsor package deal with energy systems manufacturer Viessmann Group for the '19 and '21 events in Seefeld, Austria, and Oberstdorf, Germany, respectively. The contract was negotiated and concluded by Infront (Infront). 

European Tour event Made in Denmark secured its place on the Race to Dubai through '23. The tournament's prize fund will rise to €3M ($3.5M), with the winner pocketing €500,000 ($582,775) (European Tour). 

HSBC extended its sponsorship of its LPGA event through '20. The HSBC Women's World Championship will return to the New Tanjong Course at Sentosa Golf Club in Singapore next March (HSBC).
