Ligue 2 side Sochaux announced DAVID VIZCAÍNO as its new sporting director. He will be in charge of the sporting direction of the club and the training academy. He was previously the head of recruitment with Spanish second division side Almería (Sochaux). ... SHASHANK MANOHAR will continue as Int'l Cricket Council chair until '20 after he was elected unopposed for a second two-year term. The ICC said that Manohar was the "sole nominee" put forth by the board (ESPN.com, 5/15). ... JOYEE BISWAS, the southeast Asian head of ESPN, joined Facebook as head of Asia-Pacific sports partnerships. He will be tasked with overseeing Facebook’s partnerships with APAC-based leagues, teams, athletes and sports media and he will continue to be based in Singapore. He previously held senior roles at Eleven Sports and Singtel (TV NEWS 4U, 5/15).

COACHES/MANAGERS: Paris St. Germain announced THOMAS TUCHEL as its new manager. The German signed a two-year contract with the club. Tuchel, 44, replaces UNAI EMERY and will take up his post in July (PSG). ... Germany national football team Manager JOACHIM LÖW extended his contract until '22. Löw, whose deal was set to expire in '20, has been in charge for 12 years and led the side to World Cup victory in '14. He was linked with Arsenal's managerial position following ARSÈNE WENGER's departure (REUTERS, 5/15). ... Former Man City Manager ROBERTO MANCINI was confirmed as the new head coach of the Italian national team. He succeeds GIAN PIERO VENTURA, who was sacked in November. The 53-year-old's first game in charge will be a friendly against Saudi Arabia in Switzerland on May 28 (REUTERS, 5/14).
