Event Notes: Tickets For Wenger's Final Home Match In High Demand

Tickets for Arsène Wenger's final home match in charge of Arsenal are being sold for £1,800 ($2,446). Wenger, who is stepping down after 22 years with the club, "will take to the home dugout at manager for the last time" on Sunday when Burnley arrives at the Emirates Stadium. The match is a Category C fixture -- with prices ranging from £26 ($35) to £38.50 ($52.30) (PA, 5/3).

The Int'l Table Tennis Federation said that North and South Korea will field a combined women’s team at the table tennis world championships "after the nations decided not to compete against each other" in the quarterfinals. North and South Korea requested to "field a unified team" for the semifinals of the championships, which will be played against Japan on Friday in Halmstad, Sweden (REUTERS, 5/3).

sellout crowd is expected at Jiangwan Stadium in Shanghai for the Australian Football League round nine match between Port Adelaide and Gold Coast. This year there will also be a larger Chinese presence, with around 50% of tickets sold to locals, a significant increase on last year. AFL GM of China & India David Stevenson said that there are just a "handful of tickets" left (AFL).
