The Australian Football League Women's grand final was "moved forward by half an hour" and will start at 12:35pm on Saturday, according to Claire Siracusa of THE AGE. The move was made to accommodate Brisbane fans who want to attend the grand final against the Western Bulldogs at Ikon Park and the Lions' men's match at Etihad Stadium on the same afternoon. The AFLW grand final was originally scheduled for Saturday at 1:05pm. The Lions' men will play St. Kilda at Etihad Stadium, with the first bounce scheduled for 3:35pm. AFLW CEO Nicole Livingstone said, "Our objective is to always make AFLW matches accessible to our fans" (THE AGE, 3/19).
