The 36-year-old underwent a medical procedure to "correct an irregular heart rhythm late last year after suffering from dizzy spells" (London TELEGRAPH, 3/12). ... BEN STOKES will miss England's second test against India this summer "after his trial date was set" for Aug. 6 at Bristol Crown Court. The England cricketer appeared in court on Monday via videolink from New Zealand to confirm his identity, nationality and "plead not guilty on a charge of affray over an alleged incident outside a Bristol nightclub last September" (LONDON TIMES, 3/12).
