Marketplace Roundup: La Liga Side Levante Signs Saudi Telecom Jawwy

La Liga side Levante named Saudi telecom Jawwy its main sponsor "until the current season ends on June 30." The club debuted the new shirt featuring the Jawwy logo on the chest on Sunday against Real Sociedad. Jawwy is owned by the Saudi Telecom Company. The deal follows the club's recent signing of Saudi Arabian forward Fahad Al-Muwallad (LEVANTE-EMV, 2/16).

Renault Formula 1 partnered with Alibaba’s Tmall for the '18 season. As part of the partnership, Tmall's logo will be "displayed prominently" on the Renault R.S. 18 F1 challenger. Tmall will pursue further collaboration with Renault and its strategic partners, Nissan and Mitsubishi (THE DRUM, 2/19).

Invast Global signed an agreement to become an official partner of the Australian men’s and women’s rugby sevens teams in '18. Invast will sponsor the men's team for the Hong Kong (April 6-8) and Singapore (April 28-29) World Rugby Sevens Series events. Invast will sponsor the women's team for the remainder of the World Rugby Sevens Series in '18. This includes Kitakyushu, Japan (April 21-22), Langford, Canada (May 12-13) and Paris (June 9-10) (Invast Global).

AS Roma announced a partnership with transit app Moovit. The app, which allows users to program travel itineraries by "displaying transport links in real time relative to location," will serve as the club's official transit partner. Moovit will provide specific information to AS Roma fans "regarding the fastest and easiest ways to reach the team’s Stadio Olimpico" (SOCCEREX, 2/19).

Etisalat was named the official telecom partner for both Special Olympics IX MENA Games Abu Dhabi 2018 and Special Olympics World Games Abu Dhabi 2019. Etisalat will manage connectivity throughout the venues for the entirety of the Games (Etisalat).
