Aussie Broadcasters Nine, Foxtel Secure Rights To The Masters

Nine and Foxtel secured the rights to the Masters, according to Arvind Hickman of AD NEWS. The Masters "returns to Nine from rival Seven and will be broadcast live on linear TV as well as streamed on 9Now." Nine's Wide World of Sports "will provide three additional live video channels" on 9Now: Featured Groups, Amen Corner and rolling coverage of holes 15 and 16. Foxtel's "ad break free" coverage will be shown on Fox Sports and also streamed on Foxtel Now (AD NEWS, 1/10). MUMBRELLA's Abigail Dawson reported along with Nine, Fox Sports will "also be airing the competition" as the subscription TV broadcaster. Three of the four days of the Masters "will be aired during the Easter non-ratings period" (MUMBRELLA, 1/9).
