Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales FAs Appoint IMG To Find Joint Headline Partner
IMG was appointed jointly by the FAs of Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales to find a headline partner for all three. The four-and-a-half-year deal encompasses the men's and women's national teams as well as the U21 and youth teams of the Home Nation countries. The partnership will run from the 2018 UEFA Nations League, which is replacing the int'l friendlies calendar of fixtures, through Euro 2020 as well as the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. Among the brand assets are: player and national team manager appearances, brand awareness through perimeter advertising at home games, training grounds and media events, experiential activation, hospitality and tickets, branding on training and leisurewear, digital awareness through websites and databases and access to social media channels for each of the associations (IMG).
