Liga MX Side Puebla To Be Taken Over By TV Azteca
The Mexican Football Federation (FMF) announced local investors will be in charge of Liga MX side Puebla beginning in the Apertura '18 season, according to CAMBIO. The new owner of the club will be TV Azteca. After "four years of on-field and financial difficulty, the López Chargoy brothers' era of ownership is coming to an end." The investors who will run the club include Mister Tennis CEO Manuel Jiménez, Manuel Alejandro Ruiz Delgado, Héctor Álvarez Tostado and Rafael Torre Mendoza (CAMBIO, 12/5).
