Michelin Renews Partnership With Formula E Through '21

Michelin extended its partnership with Formula E to provide all-weather tires until '21, according to Taruka Srivastav of THE DRUM. As part of the partnership, Michelin also created "bespoke" tires for use in both wet and dry conditions using 18-inch rims for the championship. Michelin is "already working" on tires for the "new-look next generation car, which will make its debut in season five" (THE DRUM, 12/1).
