Suspended Int'l Boxing Association (AIBA) President WU CHING-KUO announced on Monday he would step down from his post to "resolve the management issues" within the Olympic sport's governing body. Wu, who will be replaced by interim President FRANCO FALCINELLI, said in a joint statement with the organization that he would "withdraw and terminate related pending procedures before civil courts and the AIBA disciplinary commission" (REUTERS, 11/20). ... Qatar Tennis Federation President NASSER AL-KHELAIFI was elected chair of the Asian Tennis Federation. Along with being the chair of the ATF, Al-Khelaifi is also the president of the Qatar Tennis, Squash & Badminton Federation and the chair of Paris St. Germain (GULF-TIMES, 11/20).

COACHES/MANAGERS: Sussex County Cricket Club appointed former Australia cricketer JASON GILLESPIE as its head coach. The 42-year-old, who coached Yorkshire to the County Championship title in '14 and '15, agreed to a three-year deal (BBC, 11/20). ... TONY PULIS was sacked as EPL side West Bromwich Albion's head coach with the club a point above the Premier League relegation zone and without a win in 10 top-flight games. Former West Brom Manager GARY MEGSON, who had been Pulis' assistant, is taking over "until further notice" (BBC, 11/20).
