Marketplace Roundup: Celtic, Aston Villa Ink Deals With Science In Sport

London-based sports nutrition supplier Science in Sport confirmed it "inked deals to become the official sports nutrition supplier" for Scottish Premiership side Celtic and League Championship side Aston Villa. The firm also confirmed a "string of sports nutrition supplier agreements" with Scottish Premiership side Motherwell, League Championship side Norwich City, League One side Plymouth Argyle and League Two side Lincoln City (BDAILY, 8/4).

Premier League side Leicester City extended its partnership with Thailand and Singapore travel insurance provider DirectAsia for another year. The extension strengthens Leicester City's links in Southeast Asia, where the club has developed its fan base thanks to its ties to Thailand (Leicester City). 

League Championship side Sunderland announced Utilita Energy will be its back-of-shirt partner for the '17-18 season. Utilita Energy's brand will also have a visual presence around the Stadium of Light (Utilita Energy). 

Premier League side Southampton announced a partnership with The Big Issue, which will see a Southampton edition of the magazine sold by vendors in the Hampshire region and distributed as the official matchday program of the club's first game of the season (The Big Issue). 

League Championship side Hull City confirmed Burflex as its back-of-shirt sponsor for the '17-18 campaign. Burflex was previously the club's shorts sponsor (Hull City).  

Welsh Pro12 side Dragons announced Monmouthshire Building Society will be its main sponsor for the next three seasons. The company takes the place of BT on the front of the new jerseys (SOUTH WALES ARGUS, 8/4).

League Championship side Preston North End renewed its partnership with PAR Group. The company will be the official season ticket books sponsor for the fourth consecutive season. PAR Group will also continue sponsoring the Sir Tom Finney Stand at Deepdale (Preston North End).
