Catapult Sports President of North America BRIAN KOPP is leaving the wearable technology company after nearly three years. Kopp played a central role in building the company's American business, including establishing a U.S. HQ in Chicago, helping the company acquire XOS Digital last year and gaining MLB approval earlier this year for in-game use of its products. His next career stop is not yet determined (Eric Fisher, Staff Writer).

COACHES/MANAGERS: Spanish Basketball League (ACB) side Baskonia "needed just five hours" to find a replacement for former coach SITO ALONSO. The club hired PABLO PRIGIONI to coach the team for the next two years. It will be the former Argentine player's first coaching role (EL MUNDO, 6/16). ... Former Serbian SuperLiga side Red Star Belgrade coach MIODRAG BOZOVIC "joined Russian top-flight side Arsenal Tula." Bozovic, 48, was sacked by 1991 European Cup winner Red Star in May "following a shock defeat to unfancied Vozdovac" (REUTERS, 6/18). ... La Liga side Alavés named LUIS ZUBELDÍA its new head coach, with the Argentine signing a one-year deal at the club. The 36-year-old replaced MAURICIO PELLEGRINO, who left Alavés in May after leading the Basques to ninth in La Liga and a first ever Copa del Rey final (AS, 6/17). ... Spaniard OSCAR GARCIA was named the new manager of Ligue 1 side St. Etienne after long-term coach CHRISTOPHE GALTIER "ended his eight-year reign at the club at the end of last season." Garcia "recently led Austrian side FC Salzburg to back-to-back domestic league and cup doubles" (REUTERS, 6/16). ... Ajax Amsterdam named MARCEL KEIZER head coach in place of PETER BOSZ. Keizer signed a two-year contract (REUTERS, 6/17).
