Sky Sports Bolsters Women's Sports Broadcasts With Super League Deal

Sky Sports will broadcast live domestic women's cricket for the first time on U.K. TV this summer, with eight live matches announced in the Super League. In partnership with the England & Wales Cricket Board, Sky Sports signed a deal to show matches starting in August. As part of the new agreement, Sky will become the first broadcaster in the U.K. to show live women's domestic cricket. Sky will show six group stage matches from the Super League, each part of a doubleheader with a men's T20 Blast match, and will also broadcast both games from the finals day live in September. This new set of rights adds to the schedule of women's sport on Sky in '17. Sky Sports also offers viewers live coverage of int'l and Superleague Netball, England Rugby's Red Roses competing in the Six Nations, and women's golf from the LPGA tour with all five majors for the first time (Sky Sports).
