Marketplace Roundup: Former Ireland Rugby Player's Watch Brand Gets Major Deal

Told & Co., the watch company run by former Ireland rugby player Tomás O'Leary and his wife Julie, has "celebrated its first year by launching a ladies' collection and securing a major online deal." The firm, whose name spells out Tomás O'Leary Design, is "run by the couple" from the Languedoc region of France, "where Tomás is providing injury cover" for Top14 side Montpellier Hérault. Last month, the couple launched a ladies' collection and this week "they scored a major hit by getting onto 'Not on the High Street,' an online store in the U.K. that handles millions of customers every month" (IRISH INDEPENDENT, 12/15).

Rolex will be the title sponsor of the '17 Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix. The '17 race marks the fifth consecutive year Rolex has been involved as the title sponsor of the event (Rolex). 

Second Bundesliga club SC Freiburg renewed its partnership with local beer partner Badische Staatsbrauerei Rothaus until '19 (SC Freiburg).
