Spanish Basketball Federation Threatens To Sanction Clubs Participating In Eurocup
The Spanish Basketball Federation (FEB), through new President Jorge Garbajosa, "has sent a letter to teams competing in the '16-17 Eurocup," according to AS. Garbajosa sent the letter on Tuesday, "which included a warning of possible sanctions on clubs that participate in the Eurocup." The letter "is based on the fact none of the clubs requested permission from the FEB to participate in the competition." The Spanish teams that will participate in the Eurocup this season are Gran Canaria, Bilbao Basket, Málaga, Murcia, Valencia and Fuenlabrada (AS, 8/4).
