Scotland's National Football Team Partners With Beer Brand Tennent's Through 2018 WC

Scotland's national football team is set to announce a "lucrative" £1M ($1.54M) deal with beer brand Tennent's ahead of a Euro 2016 doubleheader with Georgia and Germany, according to Matthew Lindsay of the Glasgow EVENING TIMES. Tennent's will become the official beer partner of the national team in a three-year agreement which will run until the 2018 World Cup. It continues a 40-year involvement between the "best-selling lager in the country and Scottish football." Vauxhall will continue to be the main sponsor of Scotland -- the car manufacturer "backs the senior national squad as well as all of the age-group squads and the women's national squads" (EVENING TIMES, 8/30).
