New Matchball Marks Mitre Partnership Renewal With Football League

The Football League’s official match ball for the '15-16 season marks a renewed partnership deal that will see Mitre Sports Int'l continue as the official ball supplier for the next four years. Making its debut this Friday, fans will get a first view of the Mitre Delta Hyperseam as Nottingham Forest travel to Brighton and Hove Albion in the opening game of the season. All 72 Football League teams will play home fixtures with a customized version of the Mitre Delta Hyperseam featuring club logos and colors. Bespoke editions of the ball will be used for the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy and the Capital One Cup which kicks off on Aug. 12. To celebrate the partnership with The Football League and maximize awareness of its new professional range, Mitre has launched the #madewithmitre creative campaign. It looks to acknowledge the role Mitre footballs have played in matches over the last four decades and the support they will continue to give Football League players over the next four years. The campaign will be supported with trade advertising, PR, and social media (Football League).
