Rowing Champions League Organizers Looking For Title Sponsorship Deal

Organizers of the Rowing Champions League "are still looking for a title sponsor," according to Schilling & Herbst of SPONSORs. The RCL's current TV presence consists of highlights on local German public broadcasters RBB and HR. In addition, the RCL will receive TV coverage in 13 other states. The organizers are also in talks with national public broadcasters ARD and ZDF. The search for sponsors "is slow." The RCL, which made its debut in '14, counts Berlin-Partner Marketing, New Wave Sportswear, Philips Bootswerft and Rowing Motion "to its list of sponsors." RCL organizers are looking to fill three sponsorship levels: Platinum, Gold and Silver. The Platinum package, which includes the title sponsorship, has a €125,000 ($138,000) price tag. The price for a Gold package is €62,500 ($69,000), and Silver packages are available for €31,250 ($34,500). The RCL also offers regional packages for the Champions League final in Berlin, called Bronze, Mini and Starter. The packages "include logo presence on boards, jerseys, boats and oars." This year's RCL final will take place on Sept. 20 (SPONSORs, 6/26).
