Chan appeared Wednesday with bid officials to "introduce his new tune 'Wake Up Winter,' saying he was prepared to help the bid in any way he could" (AP, 5/27). ... The Brazilian Football Federation (CBF) "removed" a sign, which was former CBF President JOSÉ MARIA MARIN's name, from its building following his arrest in Zurich (UOL, 5/28). ... RAFAEL BENITEZ "moved a step closer to taking over" Real Madrid when the Spaniard resigned as Serie A side Napoli coach on Thursday. Benitez will "take charge of his final game" when Napoli hosts Lazio on Sunday in a playoff for the third Champions League spot in Serie A (AFP, 5/28).
