Marketplace Roundup: Arminia Bielefeld Extends Shirt Sponsorship Deal With Alpecin

Second Bundesliga side Arminia Bielefeld has extended its shirt sponsorship deal with hair product brand Alpecin for another season. The brand, which became the club's main sponsor in the winter of '13, will remain on Bielefeld's jersey until the end of the '15-16 season. The extension was brokered by Sportfive (Arminia Bielefeld). ... Ligue 1 side Paris St. Germain signed a regional sponsorship agreement with Swedish pizza snack Billys. The one-year deal includes association rights in the Swedish, Norwegian and Finnish markets. This is the second regional sponsorship agreement for PSG following the deal signed with Super02 in Indonesia last year (PSG). ... Global ports operator DP World extended its sponsorship of the European Tour's end-of-season, $8M Tour Championship in Dubai for another five years. The agreement means the Tour Championship, launched in '09, will remain on the schedule until at least '20 (REUTERS, 5/21). ... Second Bundesliga side FSV Frankfurt is going to be marketed by Infront Sports & Media. The club signed a contract with the company from July 1- June 30, 2025. These include exclusive partner packages such as main and naming rights sponsorship as well as advertising platforms at Frankfurt's Volksbank Stadium. Infront also markets the various hospitality offerings at the home matches of FSV Frankfurt (Infront). ... Price Waterhouse Coopers Bermuda has been named the official audit and assurance provider for the 35th America’s Cup and official audit and assurance provider of Oracle Team USA. Under the agreement, PwC will provide a range of professional services to America’s Cup Event Authority. PwC will also make a contribution to the America’s Cup Community Sailing Project (PwC). ... CONCACAF announced that Delta Air Lines will sponsor the CONCACAF Gold Cup. Delta gains the official airline designation in CONCACAF territory, which includes the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Central America. Delta is a first-time Gold Cup sponsor and also sponsors Major League Soccer side Seattle Sounders and Chelsea. The announcement was made in conjunction with Traffic Sports, CONCACAF's commercial partnership agency (CONCACAF).

LOOKIN' GOOD, EPL: Liverpool players will debut the club's new third kit at Sunday's match when the Reds take on Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium in the final game of the season. Details of the third kit produced by the club's new official kit partner New Balance will remain secret until the reveal (Liverpool). ... Everton has unveiled its new kit for next season, which will "get its first outing in the final Premier League game against Spurs on Sunday." The new Umbro kit has been "inspired by iconic Everton home shirts of the past and gives the shirt and features a white V-neck collar with a rib insert" (London DAILY MAIL, 5/21). ... Leicester City has signed a new agreement with PUMA to continue its technical partnership. Puma will continue to supply team kit, replica kit and trainingwear to the Foxes, starting with the new '15-16 home kit, which will be worn for the first time during Sunday’s fixture against Queens Park Rangers (Leicester City).
