Dinamo Bucharest Pushes Plan To Build 30,000-Seat Stadium For Euro 2020

Romanian side Dinamo Bucharest CEO Elisabeta Lipa has "unveiled plans to demolish its Stefan cel Mare stadium and build a new sports facility with a total capacity of 30,000," according to Jaroslaw Adamowski of INSIDE WORLD FOOTBALL. Lipa: "We have obtained a permission from the Ministry of Development. We are planning a stadium fitted with 30,000 seats, a modern stadium." Lipa said that, currently, the club is "drafting project documentation." In '20, Bucharest will "host, along with 12 other European cities, group matches on the UEFA European Championship." Construction work on the new stadium "would be completed before Euro 2020" (INSIDE WORLD FOOTBALL, 5/20).
