Media Notes: German Broadcaster ZDF Adds Presenter Anna Kraft

German public broadcaster ZDF "has hired Anna Kraft to join the channel's presenter team." The 29-year-old, who currently works for free-to-air TV channel Sport1, "will join ZDF in the summer." She will join Norbert König and Rudi Cerne "as a presenter of the ZDF SPORTreportage program" (DWDL, 4/26). ... Sky Sport will broadcast the FIFA U20 World Cup New Zealand 2015. The 52-game event is being hosted in New Zealand for the first time and Sky Sport has live coverage of every game (FIFA). ... SBS presenter Scott McIntyre has been sacked from the broadcaster after posting a series of comments about Anzac Day on Twitter that were described as "inappropriate and disrespectful." McIntyre, a football reporter and presenter, referred to some Australians marking Anzac Day as "poorly-read, largely white, nationalist drinkers and gamblers" on his officially verified Twitter account on Saturday night (SYDNEY MORNING HERALD, 4/26).
