Puma has appointed JOHAN ADAMSSON as director of sports marketing and sports licensing. In his new position, Adamsson, who has been with Puma for 14 years, will be responsible for managing and extending Puma's portfolio of athletes and sports teams on a national and int'l level. He succeeds CHRISTIAN VOIGT, who has decided to leave the company. Adamsson is based at Puma’s headquarters in Herzogenaurach. Between '06 and '10, he was responsible for marketing in Puma’s teamsport business unit and became head of sports marketing teamsport in '10 (Puma). ... Russian Football Union (RFS) President NIKOLAY TOLSTYKH said Monday the organization has "created a new position of anti-racism inspector." Tolstykh: "In accordance with a decision with FIFA, the RFS will introduce the position of an anti-racism inspector. ALEXEI TOLKACHEV, the head of the RFS department for safety work with supporters, will take up this new position" (REUTERS, 3/30). 

COACHES/MANAGERS: Conference Premier side Wrexham has "sacked" Manager KEVIN WILKIN a day after it "lost in the FA Trophy final to North Ferriby United." First-team coach CARL DARLINGTON and Assistant Manager GARY MILLS will "take temporary charge for Tuesday's Conference match at home to Dover" (BBC, 3/30). ... Former German int'l STEFFI JONES is going to replace SILVIA NEID as the head coach of German women's national team. The 42-year-old Jones was a member of the Germany women's team, which claimed the World Cup title in '03. She played 111 matches as an int'l and collected three European titles and two Olympic Bronzes (DFB).
