Hamburg-based agency Jung von Matt/Sports "has added two new members," AYLA MAYER and ROBERT ZITZMANN, to its team. Mayer, who recently worked for Axel Springer, "will become the director of content & editorial." Zitzmann "joins the agency from sports rights company UFA Sports." He "will support JvM/sports' sponsorship team" (HORIZONT, 3/3). ... City Football Group has appointed TAKAO TOSHISHIGE as managing director of City Football Japan (Man City). ... League One side Coventry City named TONY MOWBRAY its new manager. He succeeds STEVEN PRESSLEY. Mowbray, the former Hibernian, West Bromwich Albion, Celtic and Middlesbrough manager, "has been out of football" since leaving Middlesbrough in Oct. '13 (BBC, 3/3). ... Argentine HECTOR CUPER is the new coach of Egypt, the country's FA said on Monday. In his career Cuper has led La Liga side Valencia to the Champions League final in '00 and '01, and in '03 he finished second in Serie A with Inter Milan. Egypt's previous coach, SHAWKI GHARIB, left the job in November (BBC, 3/2). ... Asian Football Confederation President SALMAN BIN EBRAHIM AL KHALIFA won a new four-year term in the position and became deputy FIFA president for Asia (GULF DAILY NEWS, 3/3).
