Law Change Could Lead To Potential Formula E Race In Switzerland
A law change could pave the way for a potential Swiss ePrix. Swiss fans got the chance to see the Formula E car in action for the first time ever when the fully-electric single-seater drove through the streets of Geneva. The event, organized by Formula E, saw local driver Simona de Silvestro behind the wheel. The last motor race to be held in Switzerland was at the circuit of Bremgarten, near Bern, in '54. Now, after a historic decision by the National Council to adopt a motion by MP Fathi Derder, Switzerland can welcome professional motorsport back into the country. The new law -- to be confirmed by the Council of States -- is restricted to only electric vehicle racing. This opens up the possibility for Formula E to race on the city streets of Switzerland in the future (Formula E).
MUSICAL TWIST: Spanish musician and record producer Nacho Cano has released a new single and anthem for Formula E.
The song titled "Nacho Cano Formula E Anthem" will go on sale across digital platforms in stores worldwide. Cano was also selected to compose the theme songs for Madrid’s Olympic bids in both '12 and '16 along with the score for the European Athletics Championships in Barcelona. He was also chosen for a special composition at the royal wedding of King Felipe VI, Spain’s newest king (Formula E).
