Futebol Tour Expanding Flamengo Museum In Rio De Janeiro

Brasileiro club Flamengo FC is expanding its museum, the Fla Experience, according to Duda Lopes of MAQUINA DO ESPORTE. Flamengo has been asking for donations from fans to "expand its museum in Gávea." The museum's administration, the Futebol Tour, is planning to turn the Fla Experience into "a famous tourist attraction in Rio de Janeiro" much like many European FCs already have. The "ambitious plan" is to make the museum one of the five largest attractions in Rio de Janeiro. The museum receives "300 visitors per day" and "has seen 7,000 visitors" in the months it has been open. The Futebol Tour expects to "break even" on its investment in two years (MAQUINA DO ESPORTE, 2/26).
