Pan-European Sports Network Eurosport Reveals MotoGP Coverage Plans In Germany

Pan-European sports network Eurosport "has revealed details about its coverage plans of MotoGP in Germany starting this season," according to Timo Niemeier of DWDL. Eurosport's sister channel DMAX will also benefit from the motorcycle broadcast rights. DMAX will broadcast the season-opening race on March 29, simultaneously to Eurosport's coverage. DMAX, however, will only show the race -- no practice or qualifying sessions. All race weekends will be shown by either Eurosport or pay-TV channel Eurosport 2. The main channel will show the season highlights like the season opener from Qatar, German Grand Prix and the season finale from Valencia. It will also show the races from Jerez, Le Mans, Assen, Brno, Misano and Aragon. All other races will air on Eurosport 2 (DWDL, 2/25).
