Europcar Selected As Official Supplier To Lawn Tennis Association

Europcar has been chosen as the official car hire supplier to the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA). Under the new three year agreement, Europcar becomes the official supplier of car hire for the Aegon Championships in London, the Aegon Eastbourne International, the Aegon Birmingham Classic and the Aegon Nottingham Opens.

The LTA is the national governing body of tennis in Great Britain and is committed to growing the sport by getting more people to play tennis more often. Through its partnership with Europcar, now players, coaches and staff will gain access to world class car hire, taking them to and from tournaments and events.

This is a major partnership for Europcar, providing extensive promotional opportunities, as well as giving the LTA the benefit of quality car hire and transport solutions. Through the partnership, Europcar also has exclusive agreements for five Aegon tennis events, offering courtside branding, as well as logo placement and advertising opportunities in programmes and hospitality areas.

Under the new three-year agreement, Europcar "becomes the official supplier of car hire" for the Aegon Championships in London, the Aegon Eastbourne Int'l, the Aegon Birmingham Classic and the Aegon Nottingham Opens. The partnership will provide Europcar with "extensive promotional opportunities." Through the partnership, Europcar "also has exclusive agreements for five Aegon tennis events, offering courtside branding, as well as logo placement and advertising opportunities in programmes and hospitality areas" (TRAVEL DAILY NEWS, 1/7). EVENT MAGAZINE's Katie Deighton reported the LTA also announced a new partnership with Quorn, "which will see the meat substitute brand become the title sponsor of a family-focused tennis competition." The partnership "will be further marketed" across the five ATP and WTA tournaments staged annually by the LTA (EVENT MAGAZINE, 1/8).
