Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo Leads Wealth-X's List Of Europe's Richest Footballers

Wealth-X on Sunday released a list of the 10 wealthiest players in the European football leagues. The 10 footballers on the list are collectively worth more than $1B, and predominantly represent clubs in Spain, France and the U.K. With an estimated net worth of $230M, Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo is the wealthiest footballer in Europe. Lionel Messi is second on the list at $180M. The richest British player is ManU's Wayne Rooney, whose net worth of $95M is fourth on the list (Wealth-X).
