FIBA World Cup Boasts Record 45 Current NBA Players, Total Of 75 With NBA Experience

A record 45 current NBA players are playing for national teams competing in the FIBA World Cup, up from 44 in '10. The tournament features a record 75 players who have played in the NBA. Of the 24 teams competing, 21 feature at least one current NBA player, former NBA player or NBA draftee, and 22 NBA teams are represented. The Cleveland Cavaliers and Houston Rockets each have four current players in the tournament. The Chicago Bulls, Utah Jazz, Brooklyn Nets and Minnesota Timberwolves each have three (NBA).

'NBA HOUSE' UNVEILED: The NBA on Monday unveiled plans for its "NBA House presented by BBVA" fan experience event that will be held at the Cines Callao in Madrid's Plaza de Callao from Sept. 9-14. Former player Bruce Bowen, a three-time NBA champion, will attend from Sept. 9-11. Robert Horry, a seven-time champion, and 13-year veteran Jalen Rose will attend from Sept. 11-14 (NBA).
