Havas Sports & Entertainment has appointed ALEKSANDRA MARCINIAK as the new managing director of its Poland operation. Marciniak has more than 15 years experience in the sports industry, first as a sports journalist then as a press officer at TV channel Canal+ before working in sports marketing. Marciniak has been at Havas SE Poland from the agency's inception in Oct. '08. She will be responsible for overseeing daily business operations, client relations, as well as strategic and new business development for Havas SE Poland (Havas SE). ... EPL side Crystal Palace has appointed NEIL WARNOCK as its new manager. The 65-year-old, who was at Palace between '07-10, "has signed a two-year deal" after being chosen ahead of ex-West Brom Manager STEVE CLARKE. The London club is keen for interim Manager KEITH MILLEN "to be integrated into the new set-up" (BBC, 8/27).
