Kazakh Club FC Aktobe Unveils Plans For New Stadium With Capacity Of 32,000

Kazakh football club FC Aktobe has "unveiled plans to build a new stadium with a seating capacity of 32,000," according to Jaroslaw Adamowski of INSIDE WORLD FOOTBALL. The club said that the "construction of a new sports facility will be supported by the country's government as parts of efforts to promote football." The side's current stadium has a "capacity of some 13,500 seats." Aktobe Region Mayor Archimed Muhambetov said, "We are developing a design and feasibility study. ... The stadium will be built in compliance with UEFA category four standards." In '15, the club aims to finalize works on the "design of the new sports facility" (INSIDE WORLD FOOTBALL, 8/25).
