Marketplace Roundup: DEL Side Cologne Sharks Partners With NetCologne

German Hockey League (DEL) side Cologne Sharks agreed to a partnership with NetCologne. The Cologne-based telecom company was a supporter of the club in the past and has been a longterm partner of its youth teams. NetCologne signed a four-year deal with the club and will become a partner of the first team starting with the '14-15 season (Cologne Sharks). ... Handball Bundesliga (HBL) side HBW Balingen-Weilstetten has renewed its sponsorship deal with tech company Bizerba for another year until the end of the '14-15 season (HBW Balingen-Weilstetten). ... Watch brand Tissot "has signed a partnership with the French National Rugby League and at the same time becomes official timekeeper of the Top 14 rugby league" for the '14-15 season (MONTRES DE LUXE, 8/13). ... Marketing company AS&S Radio "has signed a deal with online radio station Sport1.fm to take over its marketing" (HORIZONT, 8/11). ... GAP Group came on board as an official Rugby Premiership side London Irish sponsor for the next two seasons and will have its logo appear on the back of right leg on the shorts of the club's first team kit for all Aviva Premiership, LV=Cup and European matches. GAP will also enjoy extensive branding and hospitality rights at London Irish home games played at the Madejski Stadium as part of the Exiles campaign in the Aviva Premiership, The European Challenge Cup and the LV=Cup (London Irish). ... The Rugby Players’ Association "appointed the Training Room" as its official personal training supplier. The sponsorship deal has been designed to help RPA members "qualify as professional personal trainers," equipping them with the skills needed to transition into life after rugby (ISPORTCONNECT, 8/13). ... EPL side Leicester City announced a new platinum partnership with online betting company 666Bet. The agreement will see 666Bet become the club's official betting partner and exclusive European betting partner for the '14-15 season (Leicester City).
