Fox Sports Taiwan closed a deal with Chinese Professional Baseball League team Uni-Lions, "scoring the rights to broadcast all its home games" against the Lamigo-Monkeys for the rest of the current season. The agreement, which started Wednesday, "marks the first time" that CPBL games will air on Fox Sports (WORLD SCREEN, 8/6). ... Octoshape announced that the Automobile Club of Germany (AvD) has selected its partner Deutsche Telekom and "LiveStream Perform," powered by Octoshape, as a live streaming solution for the AvD-Oldtimer-Grand-Prix in Nürburgring. The cloud-based video streaming solution will be leveraged for the live and on-demand streaming of five TV channels to connected devices globally (Octoshape).
