Board Of Control For Cricket In India Invites Title Sponsorship Bids For Int'l, Domestic Matches

The Board of Control for Cricket in India "decided to invite title sponsorship bids for its international and domestic matches for six months only as it expects to earn considerably more from 2015 when the new Future Tours Programme of the ICC kicks in," according to INDIAN TELEVISION. The BCCI marketing committee finalized the "Invitation To Tender" for title sponsorship rights for both int'l and domestic matches for the period from Sept.-April 30. During the stipulated period, India "will be seen playing against West Indies for three tests, five one day internationals and one T20 International." The sponsorship rights "will also extend to five domestic series like the Irani Cup, Ranji trophy, Duleep trophy, Vijay Hazare KO and Prof. D.B. Deodhar trophy." Available at the BCCI headquarters in Mumbai, the ITT will be available from 11am-5pm from Wednesday until Aug. 26. The tender fee "has been priced" at Rs 2 lakh ($3,300). Bids must be submitted by 11am on Aug. 28 (INDIAN TELEVISION, 8/6).
