Franchise Notes: Bayer Leverkusen To Hold Winter Training Camp In Orlando

Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen "will travel to Florida in preparation for the second half of the '14-15 Bundesliga season." The club announced that "it will hold its winter training camp in Orlando from Jan. 9-18." As part of the training camp, Leverkusen "will participate in a tournament with future Major League Soccer club Orlando City and one side from Brazil and Canada" (SPOX, 7/8). ... British race team Carlin will be the technical service provider to Mahindra Racing in the inaugural FIA Formula E Championship, which will launch in September. The multiple championship winning team will provide engineering and technical support to the Mahindra Racing Formula E team, both from the championship’s technical headquarters in Donington, U.K. and at the 10 track events on the '14-15 calendar (Carlin).
