Marketplace Roundup: Actor Playing Mexican Keeper Ochoa Appears In Coca-Cola Advert

Mexican goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa "had such a standout performance" before his team was eliminated that his "ability to stop balls has been featured in a Coca-Cola advertisement featuring an actor dressed like Ochoa appearing just in time to keep a bottle of Coke from falling off a table" (LA AFICION, 7/4). ... Thomson Reuters is celebrating its 15th continuous year as a partner of Williams Martini Racing in '14, making it one of the longest serving team partners in Williams history and one of the longest serving sponsors in F1 (Williams). ... Bayern Munich announced a new initiative on the North American market, launching an official U.S. online shop. The store at www.bayernmunichstoreusa.com offers both established and long-running products, including for example the new '14-15 adidas home replica kit, but also merchandising items specifically produced for the North American market (Bayern Munich). ... A-League side Adelaide United FC unveiled a new major partnership with Datong Australia, a multi-national Chinese developer. The partnership will see Datong become the Reds' "sleeve" sponsor for the next two seasons (Adelaide United).
