French Insurance Company Groupama Acquires Naming Rights To Budapest Stadium
French insurer Groupama "has acquired the naming rights to the new home" of Hungarian football side Ferencvarosi Torna Club, according to SOCCEREX. The long-term deal, brokered by Lagardère Unlimited Stadium Solutions, "sees the 23,800-seater stadium in Budapest, which is set to open in August, renamed the Groupama Aréna." As well as hosting OTP Bank Liga club Ferencvarosi, the multi-purpose venue "will also stage a host of other entertainment events." In April, Lagardère Unlimited Stadium Solutions, a division of the Lagardère Unlimited agency, "signed a ten-year stadium operation and club marketing contract with Ferencvarosi Torna Club" (SOCCEREX, 7/4).
