Spanish Basketball League (ACB) side Valencia Basket has reached an agreement with CHECHU MULERO, who will replace TONI MUEDRA as the club's sporting director. Mulero will take over the role on June 30 (SUPERDEPORTE, 6/18). ... French media group Lagardère named ÉRIC THOMAS its new general counsel, replacing NORBERT GIAOUI. Thomas spent the first part of his professional career working directly with Giaoui at Lagardère for around a decade. Giaoui will now work part time with the title of acting director for the managing partners (Lagardère). ... Premiership Rugby side Newcastle Falcons named MICK HOGAN managing director. He will report directly to Chair SEMORE KURDI. Hogan has been "assisting the club for the past six months as a commercial consultant." He has previously worked at the Falcons as commercial director and head of marketing as well as being CEO at Wigan Warriors RL and Sale Sharks RFC (Premiership Rugby).
